John Krasinski Reveals A QUIET PLACE PT III Cast, Start Date

There haven’t been many updates about the next A Quiet Place movie lately. (We had to mention the name!) Technically, it’s the fourth installment if you include the fantastic prequel, A Quiet Place: Day One. But after a lot of guessing, director John Krasinski has officially announced on social media (according to Variety) that filming for A Quiet Place Part III will begin soon. Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe are all returning, and they’ll be joined by new cast members Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke, and Katy O’Brian.

John Krasinski announced the third A Quiet Place movie with a social media post showing copies of the finished script, writing that he’s proud to be part of the A Quiet Place family, both old and new. Filming will begin this spring in New York, and the movie is scheduled to hit theaters next summer. Unlike some horror series that quickly release sequels, Krasinski carefully plans each A Quiet Place installment, with six years having passed since the last one. He’s very involved in the franchise and takes his time to ensure each movie is well-made.

The next installment will explore how Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe have grown up, significantly changing their characters’ relationship. The A Quiet Place films have been a huge success, earning both critical acclaim and strong box office numbers – something not often seen in the horror genre. The big question is whether John Krasinski can maintain that success with A Quiet Place Part III, which is scheduled for release on July 30, 2027.
