John Cena Wins At WrestleMania In Disappointing Match

At WrestleMania, John Cena emerged victorious, capturing his 17th WWE title against Cody Rhodes. Unfortunately, the contest was not as fast-paced or exciting as fans had hoped.

In the majority of their match, Cena found it challenging to pin Rhodes as the champ, despite executing multiple Attitude Adjustments (including an Avalanche one from the ropes) and even reviving the STF. However, he was unable to secure a pinfall or force submission.

Ultimately, Rhodes began retaliating, but right as he was gaining momentum, the referee unexpectedly collapsed.

In this scenario, Travis Scott moved towards the wrestling ring alongside Cena. But just as Rhodes was close to winning with a 1-2-3 count, Travis Scott unexpectedly pulled the referee out of the ring. Scott proceeded to disrupt Rhodes, who subsequently performed the Cross Rhodes on Scott instead.

Meanwhile, John Cena stood hidden in the corner, clutching the heavyweight title. When Cena lunged at Rhodes, Rhodes defended himself and snatched the belt. Cena begged Rhodes not to use the belt against him. Remarkably, Rhodes refrained from using his advantage and instead, Cena seized the opportunity by delivering a low blow. In an unexpected turn of events, Cena then lashed Rhodes with the title belt, rousing the referee, and securing the pinfall for a record-breaking 17th championship win, surpassing Ric Flair’s previous record.
