Joey Bada$$ Explains Why He’s ‘Lonely At The Top’ With New Album

Joey Bada$$ has dropped off his newest album, Lonely At The Top.

In about forty minutes, the album boasts eleven tracks, with notable collaborations from Westside Gunn, Bri Steves, A$AP Ferg, Kelz2busy, Ty Dolla $ign, Rome Streetz, Kai Ca$h, CJ Fly, Ab-Soul, and Rapsody. This album is the artist’s first full-length solo release in three years, following up on 2022’s 2000. In simpler terms, this new album, titled Lonely At The Top, includes contributions from several artists and is the artist’s latest full-length solo effort, succeeding the 2022 release of 2000.

He shared that he completed this album in less than half a year, with an informal approach similar to a mix-tape, primarily to release his rhymes. However, as he worked on it, he found himself compelled to add more exploration and self-reflection to the project.

The fantastic Bada$$ stated, “I truly appreciate all the records on this compilation. I’ll share my favorites with you next week, but remember, they might change. Overall, there’s something for everyone here. Every kind of fan of mine will find something to enjoy. There are only 11 tracks because I advocate for easy listening and projects that can be completed within 40 minutes. I hope you all enjoy it.
