Joel McHale Joins The Cast of Scream 7 — Find Out Who The Blended Star Will Play

The ensemble of Scream 7 is becoming increasingly stylish by the day. Notably, Joel McHale, who gained fame from his part in the 2014 Adam Sandler film Blended, has recently joined the impressive lineup of actors.

According to The Hollywood Reporter’s report, it’s been announced that Mark Evans, Sidney Prescott’s husband, will be played by the actor from Ted. Notably, Sidney Prescott, famously played by Neve Campbell, is back in this new series installment. Previously known for his roles in shows like Community and Yellowjackets, McHale is set to add his distinct appeal to this character.

This time around, it’s Spyglass Entertainment that will be taking on the production duties for the new addition to the widely praised horror series. For those unaware, Isabel May had initially been cast as Sidney Prescott’s daughter in Scream 7.

It’s also important to mention that Campbell was missing from the last movie because of salary disagreements. Yet, she’s back in the series now. The original creator and writer of the Scream series, Kevin Williamson, will be directing the upcoming film. He’ll have Guy Busick with him, a screenwriter who has worked on both 2022’s Scream and Scream VI.
