For those unfamiliar, Jonas’ reference is to an interview with Lovato in 2015. During this conversation, she was marketing her album titled “Confident”. When asked about her preferred dish, she humorously replied, “I enjoy mugs as they are easy on the hand. They contain hot items like coffee or tea that you don’t need to directly touch.

Following the video’s widespread sharing online, the singer behind Cool For The Summer explained that her statement was deliberate. On her social media platform, she stated that she had not misinterpreted the question and that those who assumed she didn’t grasp the question properly were perhaps not appreciating her sense of humor.

Regarding Jonas and Lovato’s romantic history, the pair, who collaborated on Camp Rock, started dating in 2010. However, their relationship ended during their tour that same year, with Lovato exiting the tour for rehabilitation, as reported by Life and Style magazine.
