Jimmy Kimmel quickly responded to Donald Trump’s negative comments about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance. Kimmel addressed Trump’s criticism on Monday’s episode of his show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Jimmy Kimmel mentioned that Donald Trump gave Bad Bunny’s performance a harsh review. Trump called it “absolutely terrible” and said it disrespected America, adding that the music and dancing weren’t suitable for kids.

Kimmel responded by pointing out Trump’s own problematic past, specifically mentioning “a payment to an adult film actress who allegedly used a magazine featuring his own face in a sexually suggestive way.”
The host made fun of Turning Point USA’s alternative halftime show, sarcastically suggesting it could have been titled “the Kristi Noem Shoots-Her-Puppy Bowl,” referencing a controversial incident involving the governor.
Kimmel criticized conservatives for complaining about shows and movies, even though their own entertainment offerings are often of lower quality. He jokingly pointed out that some performers from Turning Point USA (TPUSA) wore shorts, or “jorts,” during their show. Despite this, Fox News gave the show positive coverage, and TPUSA seemed pleased with how it turned out.
Kimmel also made a playful comment about Turning Point USA’s future plans for a halftime show. A representative from the organization said they plan to host another event next year, and Kimmel joked that it would feature Lara Trump performing with a cover band led by Ted Nguyen, saying, “They’ve got to do it for the country.”
The segment featured Kimmel’s trademark mix of political discussion and comedy, where he playfully criticized people and groups using both satire and witty personal comments.
