Okay, so Trump is at it again! He’s now demanding that ABC cancel Jimmy Kimmel‘s show. Apparently, he posted on Truth Social complaining about Jimmy’s jokes and how many people are watching – or not watching, according to him. It’s just the latest in a long line of Trump going after people he doesn’t like.
Donald Trump criticized Jimmy Kimmel in a post, questioning why the network ABC continues to employ him, citing low ratings and a perceived lack of talent. He also accused the network of biased coverage and called for Kimmel to be removed from television.

The post followed a joke made by Jimmy Kimmel, who said Trump seems to become very upset when questioned about why he didn’t make the Jeffrey Epstein files public during his presidency.
ABC News questioned Trump about this earlier in the week, and he responded by angrily criticizing the network and threatening to revoke their broadcasting license. Soon after, Congress decided to make all documents related to Epstein public, and Trump subsequently approved their release.
So, Trump had some things to say, and Jimmy Kimmel addressed them on his show last night. It was a pretty fantastic comeback, actually. He basically said he’d be happy to step down when Trump does, picturing them riding off into the sunset together like Butch and Sundance! And then, using Trump’s own words against him, he playfully called him ‘quiet, piggy.’ The audience loved it, and it was clear Kimmel wasn’t letting Trump’s comments get to him – he handled it with a great sense of humor.
During his monologue tonight, Jimmy Kimmel jokingly challenged Donald Trump to appear on his show, saying he’d be happy to do so if Trump agreed to participate as well. He playfully suggested they could both retire together, referencing the film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Then, borrowing a phrase Trump has used before, Kimmel ended with a playful jab, saying ‘Quiet, piggy.’

This isn’t the first disagreement between them. ABC temporarily stopped airing Jimmy Kimmel’s show after he made comments following the death of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. Kimmel quickly returned to the air and talked about the situation, making jokes about how people were reacting to the shooter’s political views. These comments upset some conservative groups.
The conflict between them started earlier than many realize. Back in July, Trump publicly welcomed the finale of Stephen Colbert’s show and suggested Jimmy Kimmel might face a similar fate. He went on to say Kimmel wasn’t as talented as Colbert, and praised Greg Gutfeld, claiming he surpassed everyone, even the host who, in Trump’s opinion, damaged the “Tonight Show.”

Jimmy Kimmel frequently brings up Trump in his monologues, often making jokes at his expense, which keeps their ongoing disagreement in the news.
