Jill Jacobson Passes Away At 70; Learn Who Was Star Trek: The Next Generation Actress

Her vibrant energy, impeccable comic timing, and unwavering positivity were not just confined to the characters she played but radiated off-screen as well.

Jill Jacobson, an actress known for her roles in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Who’s the Boss?, sadly passed away at the age of 70 following a prolonged illness. According to Dan Harary, a friend and publicist of the star, she died on Sunday, December 8th.

As reported by Deadline, it was stated that Jill Jacobson sadly lost her life at the Culver West Health Center in Culver City, California.

Jacobson’s family expressed that she was beautiful, full of energy, and always maintained a positive outlook until the very end. She will leave behind many cherished relatives, friends, and her dear canine companions, Benny and Kowalski, who will greatly miss her.

Previously, Jill Jacobson was honored for her role as a representative of the American Cancer Society. More recently, the actress known for her role in Possession of Nurse Sherri disclosed that she successfully fought a health challenge that she had been grappling with for approximately two and a half years.

For those unaware, Jill Jacobson was battling esophageal cancer, a condition that temporarily sidelined her. In her own words, it caused her to step away from active participation for some time.

In conversation with Jim Masters, the actress from Instinct to Kill shared that her experience fighting cancer was quite challenging. She reminisced about a period when she struggled to carry on, expressing gratitude and eagerness for continued progress, as well as a desire to assist those in her circle.
