Jessica Simpson is back on screen in Hulu’s new series, All’s Fair, and she’s almost unrecognizable! She underwent a significant makeover, using a lot of makeup and prosthetics, to play a character who had some unfortunate results from plastic surgery. She’s acting alongside stars like Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, and Sarah Paulson.
Simpson’s character turns to Allura Grant, a lawyer at a women-only firm, for assistance. The story centers on her quest to get back at her ex-husband, who originally pressured her to have the surgery.
In an interview with Deadline, Simpson described the experience as demanding. She explained that she fully immersed herself in a character very different from her own, requiring significant acting. She also mentioned the extensive makeup process took eight hours to complete.

Created by Ryan Murphy, “All’s Fair” is a new legal drama that debuted on Hulu on November 4th. The show boasts a star-studded cast, including Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Kim Kardashian, Niecy Nash-Betts, Sarah Paulson, and Teyana Taylor. It follows the stories of powerful female lawyers as they tackle challenging cases and compete with each other.
