Jeremy Renner Reflects On His Snowplow Accident On Second ‘ReBirthday’; Says ‘My Gratitude List Is Very Long’

As a dedicated follower of Jeremy Renner‘s journey, I have been amazed by his resilience and determination throughout his second “ReBirthday.” The incident that almost took his life has only strengthened my admiration for him as an actor and person.

The image of him lying on a stretcher with an oxygen mask on, surrounded by medical staff, is a stark reminder of the harrowing accident he faced. However, the way he chose to celebrate his second “ReBirthday” was nothing short of inspiring. His heartfelt gratitude towards the hospital staff, neighbors, and family members who helped him during those difficult times is a testament to his character.

The chaos in the hospital for nearly 45 minutes as doctors and nurses worked tirelessly on him must have been overwhelming, but Renner’s ability to express his appreciation for their efforts despite the horrific images he inflicted upon them speaks volumes about his humility.

His caption, “My gratitude list is very long,” resonates with me deeply. I can only imagine the amount of love and prayers that poured in from around the world, which played a significant role in his recovery. His return to work and appearance on the third season of the show despite the severe injuries he sustained is nothing short of remarkable.

In the end, I must admit, I’ve learned a lot from Jeremy Renner this past year – the power of gratitude, resilience, and the strength that can be found in adversity. And as a joke, I couldn’t help but chuckle at his apology for the “meat grinding images.” After all, if anyone can turn a grim situation into a lighthearted moment, it’s Jeremy Renner!

Jeremy Renner is marking the second anniversary of his recovery from a snowplow incident, reminiscing about the event as he shares an Instagram photo taken during his hospitalization. In the picture, he’s seen posing with medical personnel while lying on a gurney, wearing an oxygen mask.

Additionally, the actor from the Avengers team penned down a lengthy message detailing the incident, and Renner too expressed gratitude towards several individuals who supported him during challenging periods. Furthermore, the Hawkeye actor took the opportunity to apologize to the hospital personnel for subjecting them to distressing sights due to the graphic images they had to endure.

In the caption, the actor wrote, “Celebrating my second ‘ReBirthday’ today.” He also mentioned, “I extend my love, respect, and gratitude to the multitude of individuals who helped me get back on track. A big thank you to every nurse, doctor, and first responder. I truly owe you my life.

Renner thanked his nephew and nearby residents who swiftly assisted him following the incident. He explained that the hospital environment remained hectic for approximately 45 minutes, with medical professionals actively providing treatment.

He went on to say in his caption, ‘I deeply apologize for the disturbing visuals I’ve left you with (I won’t subject you to more gruesome butchery scenes).

In 2023, the actor was admitted to the hospital due to a double injury – blunt chest trauma and orthopedic issues – that he sustained when a heavy snowplow weighing 14,330 pounds accidentally rolled over him.

The main Marvel Universe actor sustained numerous fractures: eight breaks in his ribs at different locations, a fracture in his right knee, a fractured ankle, a shattered left tibia, a fractured left ankle, a broken right clavicle, and a broken right shoulder.

In his post, Renner expressed his heartfelt thanks by saying, “My appreciation list is quite extensive.” He went on to explain that he felt the overwhelming love and prayers sent from all corners of the globe (each one greatly appreciated), his family’s unwavering presence throughout, some divine intervention, a touch of luck, and an abundance of miracles… It is due to these factors that I now stand strong again.

After the incident, the actor returned to his job and made an appearance in the third season of the series, which debuted on June 2, 2024.
