Jensen Ackles Reveals ‘The Boys’ Season 5 Scene That Shocked Him Enough to Walk Out

Fans at Creation Entertainment’s event in Philadelphia got a sneak peek at the fifth and final season of *The Boys*. Misha Collins talked about working with Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki again, suggesting the show is going all-out for its conclusion.

Jensen Ackles shared a funny story about filming a scene where he was so taken aback by another actor’s line that he had to pause for a moment. He explained, “I walked onto the set as Soldier Boy, turned a corner, and was completely surprised by what I heard – it wasn’t my line!” The audience laughed at the story.

I was meant to be part of the scene, but I hadn’t realized what was happening because we’d all practiced it without the actual setup. When the cameras started rolling, things were different than we expected. I walked onto the set and was completely shocked – it was overwhelming, so I immediately walked off. Everyone wondered if we needed to stop filming. I apologized, saying I wasn’t ready for that, and I doubted anyone else would be either.

Apparently, Jensen Ackles once unexpectedly exclaimed “OMG” while on set for *The Boys* – even though it wasn’t part of his script! This happened at the #SPNPhilly event.
