I saw Letterboxd at the Governor’s Awards this year! They were interviewing all the stars about their top four favorite films, and they actually got to talk to Jennifer Lopez. It was pretty cool to watch!
J.Lo immediately listed her favorite romantic movies when asked, naming “West Side Story (1961), The Notebook, A Bronx Tale, and Prelude to a Kiss.”

It was amazing to be among stars like Chase Infiniti, Amanda Seyfried, Jennifer Lopez, Lucy Liu, Eric Lin, Queen Latifah, and Mason Thames. These films are all personally meaningful to her. She especially loves West Side Story, a timeless musical with both romance and dramatic moments, and has said it inspired her as a child to pursue a career in entertainment.
