Jennifer Lopez kicked off her “Up All Night Live” residency at Caesars Palace last night, delivering a memorable show packed with music and unexpected moments. She performed a variety of her biggest hits alongside covers of classic songs, including Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful,” Barbra Streisand’s “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” and Elvis Presley’s “Heartbreak Hotel.”
Let me tell you, Jennifer Lopez absolutely killed it on stage! She didn’t just perform, she gave us a full-on nostalgia trip with all her classics – “Jenny From the Block” and “Let’s Get Loud” had the whole crowd singing along. But the real highlight? Bringing out Ja Rule! Hearing “Ain’t It Funny” and “I’m Real” live with them together was a moment, seriously. It felt like stepping right back into the early 2000s.
During the show, Lopez responded to comments about her clothing choices. She playfully referenced the questions she often gets, like, “Why does she always dress like that?” and “Shouldn’t she dress more age-appropriately?” She said she was surprised to even hear those questions.
She asked, “Why is she always nude?” and then, to enthusiastic applause, replied, “I told her, ‘If you looked like that, you’d be nude too!”‘
Jennifer Lopez responded to criticism about her clothing choices with a bold statement: “If I had this body, I’d be showing it off, too!”

The singer’s Las Vegas residency continues tonight, with more performances scheduled for January 2nd and 3rd. She’ll take a brief pause before returning to the Colosseum on March 6th for shows running through March 28th. This is her first residency in Las Vegas since her ‘All I Have’ shows at the Zappos Theater, which took place from January 2016 to September 2018.
These performances mark Jennifer Lopez’s return to the stage after she had to cancel her ‘This Is Me… Live’ tour earlier in 2024. She shared her sadness with fans at the time, explaining she wouldn’t cancel unless absolutely necessary and promising to reschedule the tour so they could all be together again. She expressed her love and vowed to make it up to everyone.
Lopez is performing at her best again, reminding everyone why she’s considered one of today’s most exciting musical artists.
