Jennifer Lawrence, the famous actress, recently admitted she has a private TikTok account she uses to playfully debate with others online. She shared this information in an interview with Fandango while promoting her new movie, Die My Love, which also stars Robert Pattinson.
She initially got into TikTok because she enjoyed watching the drama from reality TV shows, like those featuring the Real Housewives and the Kardashians. However, things became more contentious when she started posting information about the British Royal Family that others challenged.
Lawrence explained that many people were unaware Queen Elizabeth II is married to her first cousin, which is simply a historical fact. He clarified he wasn’t criticizing them, just stating this truth. He also pointed out that such marriages were common in the 1940s.
She playfully admitted that this experience led her to deliberately post content designed to provoke strong reactions on TikTok. “It really started from there,” Lawrence explained. “I basically started trying to get a rise out of people on TikTok. I’m kind of like Kendra from the show The Catfish Mom,” she said with a laugh.
Even famous people get drawn into online discussions, and Jennifer Lawrence clearly enjoys the lighthearted banter. Sharing this, she reveals a fun and down-to-earth side of herself that fans appreciate.
