Jennifer Aniston’s Trainer Shares How She Stays in Amazing Shape at 56

Jennifer Aniston, at 56, prioritizes fitness by consistently working out, even when her schedule is packed. Her trainer, Dani Coleman, explained to the Daily Mail that this dedication is what keeps the actress in such great shape.

According to Coleman, Jen always prioritizes physical activity, no matter how busy she is. She believes that even a little bit of exercise each day is beneficial, and she appreciates Pvolve because it offers workouts of varying lengths and types to fit any schedule.

According to Coleman, the founder and VP of training at Pvolve, she and Jennifer Aniston prioritize full-body workouts. They typically use Pvolve’s core workout styles—Strength & Sculpt, Sculpt & Burn, and Progressive Weight Training—during their sessions, Coleman explained.

We do full-body workouts using resistance bands, a personal trainer, Pilates balls, and gliders, and we also incorporate heavy dumbbells to build lean muscle. Our workouts are challenging, set to good music, and include breaks to play with Jennifer Aniston’s dogs, Clyde and Lord Chesterfield!

I’m a big fan of Jennifer Aniston, and it’s no surprise she’s so incredible! Her trainer, Coleman, calls her a ‘super woman,’ and it’s clear she loves a good workout that really pushes her. She’s been using Pvolve since 2023, which I think is amazing because it focuses on building strength and flexibility in a way that’s kind to your body – no crazy, harsh exercises for her!

Jennifer Aniston likes to follow an “80/20” rule when it comes to her health. She told Allure magazine in 2025 that she eats healthily most of the time, but also lets herself indulge and enjoy treats. As she put it, “You’ve got to live your life. No restrictions — except hard drugs.”

The key is finding balance. Aim to live healthily about 80% of the time, and then allow yourself to indulge and enjoy life’s little pleasures – like having a drink, eating your favorite foods, or staying out late – for the other 20%.
