Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers’ Wednesday Season 2 Confirms More Episode Titles; Know Details Ahead of Netflix Premiere

Get ready for the approaching second season of “Wednesday”! As excitement swirls around, Netflix has unveiled two additional episode titles from the captivating supernatural mystery-comedy collaboration between Jenna Ortega and Tim Burton.

The newly unveiled titles offer fans another tantalizing glimpse into what we can expect before the grand season 2 debut. Despite the long-awaited wait, the streaming service dropped its first teaser on April 23. In this sneak peek, Ortega is seen returning to Nevermore Academy voluntarily, describing it as revisiting a crime scene.

Netflix has officially announced that “Here We Woe Again” will be the title for episode 1 of the second season. Previously confirmed episode titles also include: “If These Sorrows Could Speak”, “The Devil You Know”, and “The Great Unwinding”.

Here are the rephrased titles for easier understanding:

1. Concealed Anxieties – A title that implies hidden worries or troubles.
2. That Spells Trouble – A title suggesting a situation that leads to hardship or difficulty.
3. Be Mindful of Yourself – A title advising one to be cautious and aware of their own well-being.

Despite no formal details about the storyline being disclosed yet, enthusiasts have been speculating various interpretations. For example, ‘This Means Woe’ might be hinting at a similar theme as ‘This Means War.’

In May of 2024, leaked Reddit posts suggested that upcoming episode titles might be hinted by using emojis. The emojis used were: House (Home), Sad Face, Camping Tent in the Forest (Tent in the woods), Grandmother (Grandma), Broken Heart (Heartbreak), Alarm Clock (Red Alert), Dynamite, and Chess Piece.

In an interview with Vanity Fair last year, Jenna Ortega described the vibe they’re aiming for in this season as having a slightly eerie or horror-like quality.

Previous speculations indicated that Gwendoline Christie and Percy Hynes would not be part of the second season. Yet, new actors have stepped into their roles, such as Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor. Additionally, whispers suggest that Lady Gaga could make a guest appearance this season.

Regarding the storyline for the new season, Buscemi shared with People that it’s all under wraps, but he believes it will be an outstanding season, and he enjoyed being part of it.

The second season of “Wednesday” will debut on Netflix split into two segments. The first half is scheduled to stream starting from August 6, 2025, while the remaining episodes will follow on September 3, 2025.
