Jelly Roll Hopes to End Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly’s Long-Standing Beef: ‘One Day, Eventually’

Jelly Roll speculates he might be the one to resolve the decades-old tension between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly (MGK). These two acclaimed rappers exchanged harsh diss tracks in 2018, but their rivalry can be traced back to 2012.

In the most recent installment of the Flagrant podcast, the well-known country artist, who has collaborated with both rap artists in the past, expressed confidence that he could facilitate a conversation between them. According to Roll, he perceives many shared traits between the two rappers and is optimistic that they will eventually make up.

The Somebody Save Me singer said, “They’re gonna get together one day, eventually.”

Roll believes that it’s only a question of time before he gets the chance to connect with Eminem. He mentioned, “I haven’t directly discussed this with Marshall yet, as I’m still thrilled that I’m even in the circle where such discussions are possible.

Discussing Eminem’s enormous impact on hip-hop, Roll remembers sharing with MGK a bit about the tremendous effect it had when Slim Shady acknowledged him for the first time after his initial breakthrough into the music industry.

The country artist commented, “I also shared some insights with him: We were all raised watching Eminem dominate the music industry at a young age. If you’re mentioned in one of his songs, it’s like being featured in a stand-up comedy act. You’re burning brightly. There’s no way to be any hotter.

The feud between Shady and MGK began back in 2012 due to an extremely disrespectful comment MGK made concerning Eminem’s daughter, Hailie. This dispute has been ongoing through their individual albums, with Eminem often referring to MGK and even criticizing him in numerous songs. Despite this, Jelly Roll continues to harbor optimism about their potential reconciliation.
