As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for music and an appreciation for authenticity, I must say that Jelly Roll’s upcoming album, Beautifully Broken, is shaping up to be a powerhouse of raw emotion and profound insight. His life experiences, particularly his battles with mental health issues and substance abuse, have not only fueled his creativity but also given him a unique perspective on life that resonates deeply with his fans.
Jelly Roll is preparing for his return with his fresh new album titled “Beautifully Broken”. This news arrives before his planned headlining tour. In conjunction with this announcement, his latest single, “Get By”, has been released. Regarding his forthcoming album, the artist expressed excitement about crafting meaningful songs, and fans can expect a peek into this when the album drops.
Excitedly, Roll unveiled to his supporters the impending release of his new album titled “Beautifully Broken.” This forthcoming collection includes tracks such as “I Am Not Okay,” “Liar,” and “Get By,” along with several others. Remarkably, “Get By” has been chosen as the ESPN anthem for the 2024 College Football Season.
In the song “Get By”, Roll expresses his journey through life’s challenges, detailing his resilience after facing setbacks. He says, “I light any bridge I come across, yes, just to watch it burn / If you knew all the turmoil I’ve been through, it would make your stomach churn/ I believe you understand / Why I act as I do when I do, mm,” sings Roll in his latest track.
Additionally, every profit generated prior to the sale of Beautifully Broken from his American online store is earmarked for charities dedicated to aiding individuals grappling with mental health challenges and substance abuse problems.
During an interview with The New York Times Magazine, Jelly Roll opened up about his forthcoming album. He shared insights into his thought process when composing music, revealing that he now prioritizes creating songs with a meaningful purpose in his and others’ lives, rather than focusing solely on commercial success.
In his own words, Roll expressed, “I seek tunes that serve a purpose. You see, whenever I release a song under the moniker Jelly Roll, the question that arises in my mind is ‘Why?’ This time around, it’s not about making a financial decision. I’ve moved beyond that stage. Now, it truly boils down to asking ‘Why?'”
Speaking about his song “Winning Streak” from his album Beautifully Broken, the singer shared that he penned the lyrics based on personal encounters in his life. Known for his hit single “Son of a Sinner,” he also disclosed his regular attendance at Alcoholics Anonymous meetings while avoiding harder substances. Remarkably, it was during one such gathering that he came up with the title for “Winning Streak.”
It appears that Roll’s next album, titled “Beautifully Broken,” set for release on October 11, 2024, via BBR Music Group/Republic Records, promises to explore his unique viewpoints about life and his battles with substance addiction in greater depth.
Prior to the upcoming release, the singer is set to commence his extensive nationwide tour titled Beautifully Broken. This tour will start at Salt Lake City’s Delta Center on August 27, 2024, and conclude at Jacksonville, Florida’s Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena on November 23, 2024. In between, it will travel across the entire country.
