“The Minecraft Film is causing quite a stir in the movie scene of Hollywood. Despite attracting massive crowds to cinemas, several theaters have enforced stern measures against unruly conduct. The move comes as a response to a popular trend on social media platforms like TikTok.

Following the debut of this year’s highly awaited movie, viewers have been posting clips on the internet. In these videos, excited youth are caught on camera shouting and clapping at a particular dialogue that makes a nod to the 2011 video game.

In the given scene, Jack Black’s character Steve exclaims “chicken jockey,” as he encounters a baby zombie on a chicken with Jason Momoa nearby. Multiple TikTok clips depict the audience reacting excitedly, tossing popcorn overhead, and offering enthusiastic standing ovations.

One such video then cuts to a scene where children are being escorted out by two police officers.

After a series of similar occurrences following the premiere of the fantasy film, REEL Cinema in Fareham, England, shared with Daily Echo (as reported by The Independent), “In order to provide the finest cinematic experience for everyone, we’re enhancing our surveillance during movie showings.

An representative stated clearly that any actions deemed disruptive, such as participating in TikTok challenges, before, during, or following a screening, are strictly forbidden.

The conversation went on to clarify that any individual creating a disturbance would be politely requested to vacate the theater. If such action proved essential, law enforcement would be summoned.

The cinema located on Renfrew Street, Glasgow, named Cineworld, has released a statement regarding allegations of unusually loud sound levels during their movie showings.
