Jason Kelce is talking candidly about the initial stages of his brother Travis Kelce’s romance with Taylor Swift. He shares that it was clear from the start that the renowned NFL player held strong feelings for the well-known pop artist.
In a conversation on The Steam Room podcast alongside Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson, Jason, aged 37, reminisced about his initial knowledge of their romantic involvement. While he wasn’t able to identify the specific instance, he vividly remembered feeling taken aback yet thrilled when Travis, who was 35 at the time, casually mentioned that he was spending time with Swift.
Jason commented, “I was more like, ‘Seriously? You’re with Taylor Swift? That’s unbelievable! That’s fantastic for you,'” he remarked.
But it was Travis’s initial enthusiasm for Swift that particularly caught Jason’s attention. “It seemed distinct,” Jason confessed, “you could clearly see his deep affection for her right off the bat.
Jason’s remarks were made recently, following his statement on a different platform where he indicated that Travis might be improving, potentially due to the positive influences of those around him. “There are times when people enter our lives who help us shine,” he explained.
In September 2023, whispers about a romantic connection between Swift and Travis started circulating after she attended multiple of his sports events. Their relationship was later verified, with Swift consistently showing up at Kansas City Chiefs games, even at both of Kelce’s recent Super Bowl outings.
