James Gunn is teasing that Man of Tomorrow is getting close to cameras rolling.
James Gunn recently posted on Instagram Stories, sharing photos from the set of the Daily Planet. He mentioned he was there for a preliminary location check and assured fans it would soon look like the iconic setting they remember.
The post points to pre-production moving ahead as Gunn gets ready for the next Superman movie.
Filming is expected to begin on April 17th, conveniently right before Superman Day on April 18th.

James Gunn is back at the Daily Planet
The new images appear to show Gunn scouting the interior of the Daily Planet newsroom.
The indoor scenes set in the Daily Planet newsroom for Superman were filmed at Terminal Station in Macon, Georgia. Director James Gunn recently shared that he’s returned to working on that aspect of the film as Man of Tomorrow continues its pre-production phase.
A tech scout is when the director and film crew visit potential filming locations to figure out the practical details of each shot. They plan things like where the cameras will go, how the lighting will work, and all the other logistical aspects of production.

Gunn previously confirmed Atlanta pre-production
Gunn also confirmed about a week ago that he was already in Atlanta for pre-production.
He shared a photo with friends who visited him while he’s working on a project in Atlanta. He mentioned that the early stages of production can be isolating, and he was glad to have the company of @bobcatgoldthwait, Polyanna McIntosh, and @michael_rooker the night before. He also included a hashtag for his dog, #ozuthedog.
Based on recent reports from Atlanta and a new scout from The Daily Planet, it looks like filming for Man of Tomorrow will start very soon.
