It’s always great to reconnect with my good friend Zack Snyder, an exceptional director and a truly gifted storyteller, as shared by Gunn.
According to numerous DC enthusiasts, the backdrop of the picture matches the very spot where James Gunn unveiled the DC writers’ room.

Is Zack Snyder back with DC?
It’s unclear why Zack Snyder might have had a conversation with James Gunn, but it’s possible they discussed the Superman movie since Snyder’s visual effects team is reportedly working on it. Some speculate that Gunn may have invited Snyder to assist with the visual aspects of the film. After the first teaser trailer was released (watch below), many viewers commented on the resemblance of David Corenswet to their perception of Superman, sparking discussions on social media.
It’s possible they discussed a potential new DC movie featuring Zack Snyder’s adaptation of Frank Miller’s “The Dark Knight Returns.” Although I haven’t heard anything recently, it was mentioned last summer that Snyder could return to DC whenever he wished. If Snyder proceeds with his plan, we might see three different Batmen: Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson’s version, a hinted-at Dark Knight in the DCU by James Gunn (which could be suggested in the new DC Comics design), and potentially Ben Affleck reprising his role for Snyder’s project. It would certainly be intriguing if this plan comes to fruition, as it was initially intended to establish a Batman Multiverse following “The Flash.
It’s quite possible for photos of James Gunn and Zack Snyder to be shared, which might help appease the passionate fans online who seem to be arguing over them. The followers of both directors are currently engaging in heated debates, with each side supporting their favorite director. As you may recall, James Gunn and Zack Snyder have a friendly relationship. Couldn’t everyone just get along? If Gunn were to announce that Snyder is working on a DC film, it would likely bring peace among the fans while simultaneously causing an even bigger stir online.
