The director’s tweet concerning the forthcoming movie arrives just a few hours following the release of the initial trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash. As fans continue to savor the sneak peek, they eagerly await the significant change promised by the filmmaker.
All about the Ghosts of Hiroshima
Regarding the tweet confirming him as the director for the movie adaptation, James Cameron posted an image of the novel “Ghosts of Hiroshima” on his social media. Accompanying the picture, he wrote: “Since Titanic, I haven’t encountered a story as powerful, heartbreaking, and inspiring as the one found in Ghosts of Hiroshima by Charles Pellegrino.
He further wrote, “This is an amazing book and a film I am excited to direct.”
While the specifics of the movie’s narrative remain unclear, it is expected to be based on the novel and center around the consequences experienced by Hiroshima following a significant historical bombing event.
Based on authentic accounts, the film “Ghosts of Hiroshima” portrays a man who endured the bombing in Hiroshima, subsequently boarding a train to Nagasaki, where he was bombed once more. The movie is anticipated to incorporate interviews with over 200 survivors and their relatives as well.
