J.K. Rowling is known for openly sharing her views, and she’s done so yet again – this time voicing an opinion on the contentious sexual assault claims against Neil Gaiman, the author of Sandman.
For those unfamiliar, several women have publicly claimed that Gaiman has behaved inappropriately towards them, as reported by The Wrap. New York Magazine published accounts of four women who allege they were victimized by the author. Subsequently, Rowling posted a tweet on X, likening Gaiman to Harvey Weinstein.
J.K. Rowling, the author of Harry Potter, posted a tweet that reads: “The group of people who had plenty to say about Harvey Weinstein prior to his conviction has been noticeably quiet in their response to multiple allegations against Neil Gaiman from women who claim they’ve never met him. Interestingly, as with Weinstein, these women share strikingly similar stories.
In line with a recent article from The Wrap, I was faced with accusations by five individuals, who shared their stories on the Master: The Allegations Against Neil Gaiman podcast. As reported, New York Magazine outlined the accounts of four women, who asserted that the author in question had boundaries issues and exerted control over them for intimate purposes.
According to the findings, two of the women had collaborated with the author, while the others were admirers. The sensational allegations against Gaiman have apparently taken a toll on his work.
According to reports, it appears that Amazon’s Prime Video has started prepping for the third season of Good Omens, and this isn’t just a 90-minute finale. Meanwhile, Disney has paused their adaptation of The Graveyard Book.
