‘It’s Wild’: Armie Hammer Shares He’s Grown To ‘Like’ Cannibalism Accusations Made Against Him In The Past

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for human resilience and adaptability, I find Armie Hammer‘s approach to his recent controversies quite intriguing. His decision to embrace the unusual attention garnered by the cannibalism allegations and transform it into a platform for learning and growth is commendable.

38-year-old actor Armie Hammer is discussing past accusations of cannibalism in his new podcast, Armie HammerTime. In the premiere episode, he referred to the public’s response to these allegations as quite extraordinary.

He shared, “It’s quite extraordinary,” speaking with Tom Arnold on the podcast. “To be honest, I must admit that I find myself drawn to the concept of cannibalism these days.

Hammer stated that the accusations he faced became quite intriguing since they created excitement, contrasting with the storyline of him not being a cannibal. As he put it, “The cannibal allegations create more commotion, and there’s no apology tour in this world.” The Social Network actor said this.

Yet, he pointed out that typically, individuals delve into the subject superficially before resuming their personal routines and duties.

In the 2022 film “House of Hammer,” two former partners, Courtney Vacekovich and Julia Morrison, claimed that he had shared texts about his fantasies involving cannibalism with them. Later in April 2023, another woman accused Hammer of rape, leading the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office to initiate an investigation into sexual assault allegations against him. Hammer maintained his innocence regarding these accusations, and the authorities ultimately found that there wasn’t enough evidence for a trial.

Despite the ongoing dispute, Hammer’s acting journey in Hollywood seems to have stalled; following his role in Death on the Nile (2022), he hasn’t been involved in any new film or television productions.

65-year-old Arnold commented back to Hammer, mentioning that despite the gloomy circumstances, it has prompted him to work on personal growth. Hammer agreed, explaining that when such incidents happen in one’s life, they tend to concentrate on self-development, not to recapture missed chances, but to arrive at a stage where they no longer worry about those opportunities. “I believe I have reached that point,” he stated.

As per Hammer, the Armie HammerTime Podcast intends to host extended discussions with individuals who have valuable tools, abilities, or insights that Hammer aims to acquire.

On Instagram, on October 28, the actor made clear that while some folks may appreciate his content, others might not. Yet, the main purpose behind his podcast is to interact with a diverse group of people because there’s always something new he can learn from them, given that most people possess insights he doesn’t have yet.
