It’s been six years since his divorce from Khloé, yet it appears that he’s still grappling with the complexities of their relationship. It appears that Lamar Odom, who parted ways with Khloé Kardashian in 2016, seems to have lingering feelings for the reality TV star. On an episode of the We’re Out of Time podcast, he confessed to acquiring a sex doll that closely resembles his ex-wife. However, he clarified that this action is more about managing his mental health rather than any romantic intentions.

Odom, 45, compared it to a doll when considering its aspects, but soon reflected on the significance of mental health, emphasizing its importance not only in our current era, but throughout history.

In response to Richard Taite’s question about the connection between a doll resembling his ex-wife and mental health, Odom stated, “For my case, it does.” Acknowledging that his purchase was unusual, he added, “It may seem twisted, but I believe we all have our quirks and oddities to some extent.

In an awkward exchange, Odom playfully suggested that he required a group of companions akin to a harem, hinting at his admiration for a doll resembling Khloé.

Currently, the former LA Laker openly acknowledges that he and Khloé don’t communicate often. However, he shares that he is aware of her continued affection towards him, since she makes it a point to respond to his occasional text messages.

On September 27, 2009, the reality TV personality and the basketball player exchanged vows, just a month after their first encounter. However, their union faced troubles in 2013 when news of Odom’s infidelity broke and he fell back into substance abuse. Khloé initiated divorce proceedings that December, and it wasn’t until July 2015 that both celebrities officially signed the divorce documents.

That fateful October, I found myself once more grappling with a relapse and was urgently taken to the hospital for immediate care, having been discovered unconscious at a Nevada brothel under the influence. Remaining in a comatose state for extended periods, I was hospitalized for months on end. Through it all, my steadfast companion, Khloé, stood by my side, even during our ongoing divorce proceedings. Eventually, she chose to postpone finalizing our divorce until my recovery was complete. Upon my release in December 2016, we formally ended our relationship.

After their breakup, Odom has often expressed remorse for the hardships he caused Khloé during their time together, and as recently as February 2022, he declared his intention to make amends by reaching out to her, the partner in their Good American business endeavor.

In a heart-to-heart on Celebrity Big Brother, Odom expressed that if given the chance, he’d likely invite Khloé out for dinner. At that time, he felt it would be a tremendous gift just to be near her and apologize for his past mistakes. Yet, he also understood and accepted that if she chose not to see him again, he would honor her decision.

After her separation from Odom, Khloé started a new relationship with Tristan Thompson and together they have two children: True, who is now 6 years old, and Tatum who is 2. At the moment, they mainly have a co-parenting arrangement due to Thompson’s infidelity towards Khloé.
