‘It’s Only In My Mind’: Goldie Hawn Reveals The Kind Of Movie She’d Like To Make With Longtime Partner Kurt Russell And Their Family

As a dedicated follower of Hollywood’s golden family, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement at the prospect of seeing the Hawn-Russell clan grace our screens together. With Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell‘s combined charm, wit, and comedic timing, a family film would be nothing short of a cinematic masterpiece.

Instead of just any movie, imagine the joy of watching a real-life family star together in a film! The esteemed actress Goldie Hawn has shared her dream of collaborating with her longtime partner, Kurt Russell, and their children on a project. She even hinted that they’re considering making it a hilarious comedy flick.

Goldie Hawn shared her film concept during a conversation on September 27, a Friday, at the charity event for The Goldie Hawn Foundation’s MindUP program. This idea is not new, having been discussed by her in previous conversations as well.

She revealed to the media that the main theme of the movie is, “Every attendee at a wedding eventually decides to part ways with someone afterwards.

Hawn added, “By the way, this is a humorous piece. However, it’s just an idea in my head, nothing more. The humor comes from the absurdity of weddings – the tension, the pretense, and the struggle to keep things light. I think we could make that work.

The actress had children named Kate and Oliver with her ex-partner Bill Hudson. Since 1983, she has been in a relationship with Russell and together they have a son named Wyatt. Prior to this union, Russell had a son named Boston from his past marriage to Season Hubley.

Additionally, Oliver and Russell mentioned the idea of collaborating within their family. According to Oliver, they have talked about this extensively since several family members are involved in their business. Russell clarified that while there isn’t any concrete plan yet, it is a concept they find appealing if things work out favorably.

Oliver added that he understood his mother was referring to a wedding, possibly his sister’s first one. He stated, “Perhaps… but it won’t transpire… it could make an exceptional film about unity, about family, about acceptance, encompassing all of that.” However, Oliver also mentioned that it would be an excellent project centered around togetherness, family, and acceptance.

In June, Hawn shared this wish during a conversation on Kelly Ripa’s podcast, Let’s Talk Off Camera. She mentioned her eagerness to lead the project, as they didn’t want to wait until they were too elderly.

It’s an intriguing prospect to imagine a movie featuring her family, given that they – Russell, Kate, and the rest of the clan – have built a recognizable brand. The thought of seeing these famous faces united on the big screen is bound to delight their fans.
