Episode 5, “29 Neibolt Street,” brought the kids into direct contact with Pennywise. They encountered Matty Clements at their clubhouse, but it turned out he was actually created by the entity. Meanwhile, Dick Hallorann had a frightening psychic vision connected to his grandfather’s memories. Lilly and her friends led the children down into the sewers, where they finally saw Pennywise’s true form.
