The new HBO Max series, Welcome to Derry, started with a genuinely frightening and violent first episode this week. New episodes will be released on Sunday nights, giving viewers a traditional weekly viewing experience. However, the second episode will be available a few days early on October 31st – Halloween! You can start watching it at 12 AM Pacific Time / 3 AM Eastern Time. After that, the show will continue to air on HBO on Sunday nights at 9 PM local time.
This is a one-time schedule change, and it actually works perfectly. It’s great to see what Pennywise is doing in Derry on Halloween. We haven’t seen him on screen yet, but we definitely feel like he’s there.
The pilot episode really captured the essence of Stephen King’s world. It will be interesting to see how Lilly, Ronnie, and the rest of the characters handle the return of evil to their town.
