‘It Was a Disaster’: Sources Reveal Friends Alum Matthew Perry’s Bedroom Was A Mess After His Death

As a dedicated fan of Friends who has watched the series countless times, the news of Matthew Perry’s death still leaves a void that no amount of re-runs can fill. The image of Chandler Bing, with his impeccable comic timing and unforgettable laugh-out-loud scenes, will forever be etched in our hearts.

Many people, particularly fans of the popular sitcom “Friends,” continue to mourn the imagined loss of Matthew Perry. On October 28, 2023, it was tragically confirmed that Perry passed away at his residence in Los Angeles. The heartbreaking news later revealed that the cause of death was an overdose of ketamine.

Apart from the immediate causes of death such as ketamine, buprenorphine overdose, drowning, and heart disease related to coronary artery, further details suggest that the untimely demise of the Friends star occurred in a disarrayed home environment, specifically his Pacific Palisades residence where he was discovered lifeless in the hot tub within his bedroom, as reported by TMZ.

According to the source, it was quite a mess. The master suite appeared as if someone had been on an extended spree, with clothing scattered about and towels strewn across the floor, leaving everything in a filthy state.

As the source explained further, the rest of the house was impressively tidy, almost as if a cleaning service hadn’t been permitted into certain rooms. This suggested, at least to the source, an indication that some unfortunate event may have taken place, and efforts were made to conceal any evidence.

After the investigation into his death in May 2024 by the Los Angeles Police Department, they aimed to uncover how the deceased actor had such a large amount of ketamine. According to PEOPLE, five individuals were apprehended following this probe: Perry’s personal assistant, two medical professionals, and two drug vendors.

In simpler terms, Perry obtained the ketamine used in his ketamine-aided therapy for anxiety treatment. Unfortunately, this led to his death. Out of the five individuals involved, three have admitted their guilt in a court of law.

Among those involved are Perry’s personal aide, Kenneth Iwamasa; Erik Fleming, who is both a drug dealer and TV director; and Dr. Mark Chavez. However, Jasveen Sangha, another suspected drug dealer in the case, often referred to as The Ketamine Queen of North Hollywood, has not yet admitted her guilt.

Iwamasa has been charged on the “count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death.” Similarly, Fleming has been charged on two charges: “conspiracy to distribute ketamine and the distribution of ketamine resulting in death.” Moreover, police authorities also alleged that Perry’s assistant  Iwamasa disposed of syringes, drugs, and other paraphernalia before calling 911.

Matt Perry achieved recognition for his portrayal of Chandler Bing on the cherished television series, becoming renowned for his exceptional comedic delivery, iconic silent gasps, and hilarious scenes that continue to resonate deeply within us.
