In a casual, engaging manner, Damian Hardung, the actor portraying James Beaufort – the wealthy, self-centered character in the romantic drama series Maxton Hall, hinted at the direction of his character’s narrative in season 2, while carefully avoiding any potential spoilers.
To Deadline, the actor disclosed that “the second season is exceptionally bleak, filled with profound grief and emotional turmoil for my character.” Regarding the progress in post-production, Hardung stated that he has recently finished the Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR) process for the season.
The actor from “The Love Sucks” series openly shared that filming the second season was incredibly challenging for him, saying, “It drove me to a point where I thought: ‘I’m not sure this is healthy anymore.'” Additionally, Hardung, known for his role in the popular Netflix show “How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast),” also expressed his excitement to see the upcoming season 2 of Maxton Hall on-screen.
In the first season, the actor openly acknowledged finding joy in shooting humorous scenes, but the second season presented unique difficulties that negatively impacted his psychological well-being.
During the filming process, a profound affection grew within him for all aspects of the series. Despite this, he continued striving to uncover more lighthearted dimensions of his character, as it resonated deeply with him personally.
2025 will see the arrival of Maxton Hall season 2 on Amazon Prime Video, although we’re keeping the specific release date a secret for now.
