Scarlett Johansson‘s entry into this dinosaur-filled world is a dream come true, not just for her, but for us fans who have longed to see our favorite actress tango with T-Rexes.

For several decades, the Jurassic franchise has built a colossal fanbase through its action-packed and exhilarating movies. Ever since Jurassic World 4 was announced, fans have been bursting with anticipation. According to recent updates, the unnamed film’s production has already started and is expected to premiere in July next year, boasting a large ensemble cast.

Actress Scarlett Johansson, known for her roles in Marvel films, is excited to join the cast of the upcoming Jurassic World installment. During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote her new movie Fly Me to the Moon, she shared that she has been eager to work with the Jurassic franchise for over 15 years. The specifics of her role in the film have not been disclosed yet.

Johansson expressed, “I’ve been striving to join this franchise for around 15 years, truly yearning to do anything at all. To put it simply, I would gladly give up everything right now.” She went on to mention that she was so immersed in realizing her dream that someone needed to frequently remind her on set not to be afraid of the dinosaurs, but instead to feel awestruck by them.

Johansson’s affection for the Jurassic Park series transcends her ambition to work on it professionally for over a decade. She shared that she has cherished the franchise since childhood, reminiscing about how receiving the Jurassic Park tent was the best gift she had ever received.

She went onto reveal, “When I was about seven years old, I asked a Jurassic Park tent. And right now, I’m in the latest Jurassic film. It is so crazy! I believe we manifested it.”

In a new development, Gareth Edwards is set to direct the upcoming film that David Koepp, the original screenwriter of the franchise, is writing. Besides Scarlett Johansson, the movie also features Jonathan Bailey, Audrina Miranda, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Mahershala Ali, and Manuel Garcia-Ruflo.
