Adam Mondschein, the actor who portrayed Doctor Dunbar in “It Ends With Us“, has refuted the allegations made by Blake Lively in her sexual harassment lawsuit regarding a birthing scene that he was part of.
The actor stated to Page Six, “I won’t guess why Miss Lively brought me up in her complaint. However, I can assure you that my work experience with her was quite unlike what she depicted in her lawsuit.
In the movie, Mondschein, who assisted in delivering Lily’s baby, appeared taken aback as he listened to the actress’s account of the scene. The actor asserts that all events during filming were conducted professionally.
As a die-hard admirer, let me clarify for those not in the know: In her lawsuit, it’s said that Justin Baldoni, in an unexpected move, presented his “dearest friend” to portray a pivotal OBGYN role. Typically, such minor roles would be assigned to local actors.
She asserted that selecting Baldoni’s friend for the part requiring intense intimacy, where the actor’s face and hands were very close to her almost naked private areas during a birthing scene, was considered intrusive and embarrassing.
As a devoted follower, I must clarify that what was portrayed wasn’t exactly as claimed. In response to the actress’s assertion about being almost naked, Mondschein explained to the media outlet that her costume was more than just a mere suggestion of nudity. It consisted of a complete hospital gown, black shorts, and a prosthetic torso piece designed to make her appear pregnant. The actress had the freedom to add her personal clothing choices on top of this setup.
Additionally, he claimed that Lively never voiced any concerns or mentioned any discomfort throughout the process, as everything that transpired was completely professional and nothing out of the ordinary or inappropriate took place.
According to the article, Mondschein stated that he felt insulted by the assumptions about his credentials made by the actor from “Shallow”, as his professional background can be easily verified online.
Additionally, the entertainer disclosed that he was a hometown recruit, similar to any other artist under the same agreement. Consequently, it was stipulated in the contract that he would personally cover all costs related to travel and accommodation required for his role.
Mondschein likewise indicated his readiness to testify during the upcoming trial, assuring he will respond truthfully to all questions while benefiting from the full protection of law. Furthermore, he mentioned specifically that Miss Lively was not dressed scantily in the scene we filmed together.
