It seems like the Apple TV+ series might be coming back for its much-awaited fourth season, as Nick Mohammed has hinted at filming something clandestine and even displayed a significant item from the show. Fans can’t help but get thrilled about the cast reuniting for one final round!
Muhammad, who gained popularity among fans for his portrayal of Nate Shelley, AFC Richmond’s assistant coach, hinted at a delay in his Show Pony comedy tour dates due to scheduling conflicts related to filming that he couldn’t adjust despite financial incentives.
Despite not revealing the title of the project he’s working on, the actor has confidently hinted that an announcement is imminent. Given his recent mysterious social media post, it’s likely he anticipated stirring curiosity, particularly among Ted Lasso fans. Consequently, he felt compelled to issue a comforting disclaimer for those fans.
He mentioned that he’d prefer if spectators didn’t guess about the nature of the project, especially since he was holding a hand-painted BELIEVE sign from the series. “I don’t wish for people to become overly excited,” he concluded.
After the third and supposedly concluding season of Ted Lasso aired in early 2023, Warner Bros. has remained secretive about any plans for a fourth season. Nevertheless, rumors suggest that the studio is keen to involve the original cast members, including Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift.
As of August, negotiators were working with stars Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt, and Juno Temple to potentially return for another season of the show. In an interview with Deadline in October, co-creator Bill Lawrence did not confirm or deny a fourth season, instead leaving the decision up to Jason Sudeikis.
He referred to Sudeikis, known for portraying the cheerful football coach character, as the “voice, essence, and main motivator” of the series. Given that he’ll be making the most significant “concessions” for the show, it ultimately rests on his decision-making authority. Keep an eye out for future developments!
