Based on information from the musician’s trusted sources, it appears that the Grammy-winning artist has yet to reconcile with Lively. Media outlets imply that the singer of “Bad Karma” felt upset after being drawn into legal matters.
Is Ruin the Friendship about Blake Lively?
Initially, fans assumed the song referred to Blake Lively, but news outlets claimed the artist created it during her stop in London for the Eras Tour, well before Taylor Swift was involved in the lawsuit. A source close to the situation said their friendship had ended, although other sources suggested they were just giving each other some distance and weren’t friends anymore.
The dispute between them originated when Swift was summoned by Justin Bladoni’s lawyers to appear in court during the trial proceedings. Initially, Swift and her associates attempted to shield the musician from the commotion, but eventually, she found herself entangled in it, leading to a fracture in their friendship.
Approximately two months following the resolution of legal issues, it was disclosed that the couple has been making efforts to restore their relationship. However, it’s not as strong as it once was.
Going back to the year 2014, the bond of friendship between Lively and Swift has been long-standing. Over time, their relationship flourished into a deep, unbreakable one. To such an extent, Lively declared that Swift would be the godmother to all her daughters with husband Ryan Reynolds.
