
Jason Isaacs will be back on our screens soon, following his impressive performance in The White Lotus season 3. Recently, he appeared on Live with Kelly and Mark and gave some news about the revival of Netflix’s science fiction series, The OA, which is set to stream again.
The show, initially aired in 2016 and continued for two successful seasons, unexpectedly ended its run midway through production of Season 3.
In the cast, Isaac took on the character of Dr. Hunter Aloysius Percy, working with Brit Marling, Patrick Gibson, Ian Alexander, and Phyllis Smith, among other talented actors.

During a chat with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, the actor expressed that the show isn’t finished just yet and the cast will reunite for its comeback. Ripa jokingly added, “We were among the initial enthusiasts of The OA. We were committed to our viewing; we binge-watched it, rewatched…at a certain point, we had memorized the scenes.
Isaac expressed his admiration by saying, “It was truly impressive.” Later, the actor from The Patriot revealed that the producers of the show encountered protests due to its cancellation, which took place outside the Netflix headquarters. He also added in a casual manner, “By the way, it’s far from over for us.
In a recent development, the well-known British actor disclosed that she recently held discussions with show creators Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij. Isaacs stated, “We can’t let this go. I met them just a short while ago, and we have made up our minds – we’ll do whatever it takes.
As the talk show hosts erupted in joy at the news of its return, Jason added his thoughts, “I estimate that roughly 40 million individuals worldwide would be interested in tuning in. The show was indeed highly successful, so let’s hope that they continue to watch whatever new content we produce.
