All attention is centered on the forthcoming live-action version of He-Man. Although several actors have already been revealed for the much-awaited film, fresh rumors point towards Morena Baccarin joining the cast of this live-action rendition as well.
As per a report from Deadline, it’s been revealed that the actress from Gotham will take on the character of The Sorceress in the upcoming film. Additionally, the same report indicates that Johannes Haukur Jóhannesson has been cast as Malcolm, also known as Fisto, within the movie.
For those not familiar, The Sorceress is a potent protector of Castle Grayskull, capable of morphing into a bird named Zoar using her powers. Fisto, on the other hand, is a strong-armed warrior known for his metallic fist, often serving as a source of humorous double entendres. Initially, Fisto was depicted as a villain, but he eventually abandoned Skeletor and switched sides to become an ally of He-Man.
Recently, Morena Baccarin has been spotted in Deadpool and Wolverine, once again portraying the character of Vanessa Carlyle, a role she initially played in the 2016 action movie Deadpool.
As for Jóhannesson, he will portray the villainous Copperhead in Captain America: Brave New World.
Additionally, Alison Brie from the TV series “Community” is set to play the role of Evil-Lyn, who serves as Skeletor’s right-hand woman in this upcoming movie.
Simultaneously, the illustrious cast features Idris Elba playing Man-At-Arms, and Jared Leto assumes the impressive role of Skeletor.
Regarding the actors, it’s worth noting that Sam C. Wilson, who has gained recognition for his role in House of the Dragon, is slated to take on Trap Jaw. Meanwhile, Kojo Attah steps into the role of Tri-Klops. Lastly, Hafþór Björnsson will embody Goat Man in this production.
The principal characters portraying He-Man and Teela in this production are Nicholas Galitzine and Camila Mendes.
