Is Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones Finally Stepping Into MCU With Charlie Cox’s Daredevil: Born Again Season 2? Find Out

I can hardly contain my excitement as all eyes have been fixed on none other than Krysten Ritter, following the massive buzz surrounding her comeback as Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again season 2! But now, it appears that these possibilities are becoming reality, with fresh reports indicating that the talented actress from Breaking Bad is set to officially reprise her role. The cherry on top? Krysten Ritter will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe for this outing and will share screen time once more with her old friend, Charlie Cox.

In the upcoming second season of Daredevil: Born Again, you’ll see the feisty character portrayed by Krysten Ritter (that she played on Netflix) once again, as she teams up with Charlie Cox for another intense battle. This exciting news was shared during Disney’s presentation in New York City on Tuesday.

The actress who played a role in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 expressed her joy at coming back, having been away for three seasons of Jessica Jones, The Defenders, and is now thrilled to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Continuing her remarks, she shared her enthusiasm about resurrecting her renowned character. “While keeping secrets, I can assure you that there are many exciting surprises coming up for Jessica Jones. This upcoming season is going to be extraordinary!” Krysten further stated.

Fun fact! If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend checking out Ritter’s debut in Marvel’s Jessica Jones, a Netflix original series from 2015. This show was one of six Comic Book Movies (CBM) that Netflix introduced, making up a fantastic lineup alongside Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Punisher.

shortly after that, The Defenders assembled, featuring the characters just mentioned. Jessica Jones lasted for three seasons, concluding in 2019.

Unfortunately, it didn’t continue as planned with other Marvel-Netflix shows, instead moving towards Disney+, in accordance with Disney’s strategy to broadcast Marvel Cinematic Universe productions on their streaming platform.
