Is Kristen Bell Open To Do A Reboot Of The Good Place And Veronica Mars? Actress Reveals

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for pop culture and entertainment trends, I must say that the potential return of Veronica Mars and The Good Place is music to my ears! With Kristen Bell expressing her enthusiasm for both shows to continue, fans like myself can only hope that these beloved series make their way back onto our screens.

If given the chance, Kristen Bell, the actress known for Veronica Mars and The Good Place, has expressed her hope that these popular shows might be revived! Having recently returned to acting with Netflix’s romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This, she has shared her fondness for these cherished series and the possibility of their return on television.

She openly admitted to PEOPLE that she wasn’t ready for either Veronica Mars or The Good Place to conclude, as they both returned in different ways: Veronica Mars was revived through a fan-funded movie in 2014 and had another season on Hulu in 2019, whereas The Good Place did not get a reboot after wrapping up with four seasons in 2020.

20 years ago, in 2004, Veronica Mars premiered, where Bell portrayed a college student who doubled as a private detective. Following the long-running success of this role, she became known for voicing the main character in the popular series Gossip Girl throughout its run. Interestingly, she didn’t make any physical appearances on the show.

In The Good Place television series, actress Kristen Bell portrayed Eleanor Shellstrop, a woman with questionable morals who inexplicably ended up in heaven after death. As she tried to maintain her spot there, she faced numerous challenges. This four-season comedy was highly praised and showered with recognition for its innovative premise. When discussing her return to television, Bell guested on her husband Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast.

The actress from Frozen expressed a longing to be creative and venture out more, as she has been a stay-at-home mother for quite some time. She revealed, “I find myself yearning to experience that feeling once more. I want to rekindle that spark again,” she concluded.

Actress from Bad Moms shares with PEOPLE her reasons for joining her latest venture, which revolves around an engaging romantic comedy script that mirrors real life, penned by Erin Foster (daughter of David Foster). As she explained, “Erin crafted a thought-provoking rom-com filled with depth and contemporary relevance.” She further noted that the characters’ relationships offer intriguing perspectives on various viewpoints and potential challenges. “Exploring ways to overcome these differences in pursuit of something they call love – it’s a mature romance,” she added.

Nobody Wants This is now streaming on Netflix.
