During these occurrences, it appears that Jennifer Lopez and actor Matt Damon have been keeping a solid friendship, as reported by PEOPLE magazine. Following their appearance in joint photos at the Unstoppable premiere on September 6 at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), a source disclosed to PEOPLE that the singer is quite close with Matt [Damon] and appreciates spending time with him.
In an unexpected turn of events, Affleck – a key producer for the movie Unstoppable – was conspicuously absent during its production. This production is jointly handled by Affleck and Damon’s production company, known as Artists Equity.
During the festival, it was reported by PEOPLE that a source disclosed Lopez was seated at an outdoor table alongside the actor’s wife Luciana Damon and their costar Don Cheadle, with Luciana joining them there.
Moreover, the source mentioned that they were deeply involved in a lengthy exchange, sharing jokes and laughter, while holding hands during their discussion.
I, being Matt, have played a significant role in Ben’s life since we were kids. Our paths crossed in our hometown of Cambridge when Ben was eight and I was ten.
The recently released movie is based on the true events surrounding Anthony Robles, a wrestler born with only one leg, who went on to clinch the NCAA national title in 2011. Lopez takes on the role of Judy Robles, Anthony’s mother in the film.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share the tale unfolding between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. Last July, they exchanged vows after a year of courtship, but recent reports suggest that, unfortunately, their marriage hit a snag just two years in. For months, J-Lo valiantly attempted to salvage the union alone, yet it seems Bennifer Inc. may be closing down due to a lack of effort from Ben’s side.
As per reports to People, the breakup between the couple could turn complex and contentious since they don’t seem to have a prenuptial agreement in place.
Meanwhile, Unstoppable will release in selected theaters in December and later on Prime Video.
