People magazine has verified that Chrissy Teigen will appear in the upcoming second season of Meghan Markle’s Netflix show, titled “With Love, Meghan.” This news was initially reported by the Daily Mail. The second season of the lifestyle-focused series is set to debut this fall.
Teigen is recognized for her work as a model, cookbook writer, and host of the podcast Self-Confessed. She will be teaming up with the Duchess of Sussex for the forthcoming season, which Meghan has referred to as an affectionate tribute to the things she values most deeply.
In early 2024, Chrissy Teigen was among the initial recipients of a jar of jam from Meghan’s lifestyle brand, then known as American Riviera Orchard. At that time, Teigen highly commended the product, describing it as “possibly one of the best tastes we’ve had all year.” Later in the year, Meghan rebranded her company to As Ever, which debuted its first line of food products earlier this year. This inaugural collection was completely sold out on its launch day.
The filming for Season 2 of With Love, starring Meghan, has been completed. This new season will introduce a fresh set of friends and colleagues who work alongside Meghan. Michael Steed, the director from the first season, will continue his role in the second season. Chef José Andrés, creator of World Central Kitchen, is set to make an appearance in the upcoming season as well. Expressing her affection for José, she mentioned, “We adore him so much.” She continued, “Having him on the show… we’re saving some surprises about season two for later, and this is one of them.
In its premiere on Netflix on March 4, Season 1 of With Love, Meghan swiftly garnered attention and acclaim. It reached the seventh spot on Netflix’s Top 10 shows list in the U.K., while ranking tenth in the U.S. Among the notable guests hosted by Meghan during this season were Mindy Kaling, Abigail Spencer, and renowned chef Alice Waters. Additionally, she forged connections with chefs and businesspeople such as Roy Choi.
Meghan expressed her good fortune, stating, “We’ve got an exceptional cast lined up for the upcoming season.” She noted that her debut series on Netflix, “With Love, Meghan,” is a reflection of her deepest passions, showcasing people, places, and concepts she holds dear.
