Is Channing Tatum Playing Another Character in Avengers Doomsday Instead of Gambit? Here’s What We Know

It appears that Channing Tatum may be rejoining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he has hinted that his upcoming role might not directly tie into his potential mutant character from Deadpool and Wolverine.

During the recent unveiling of numerous stars joining the Avengers: Doomsday cast, spectators erupted in excitement when they spotted Channing Tatum’s seat among the others.

In other words, just because Channing Tatum hasn’t mentioned it doesn’t necessarily mean that his character, Gambit, won’t appear in a multiverse crossover event. It’s still possible, but we don’t have confirmation from him yet.

In a somewhat cryptic manner, much like an actor linked to Marvel Studios might, Channing Tatum, known for Magic Mike, hinted, “It was merely my name on the project, not necessarily Gambit…So far, I’ve only been promised a seat to watch the film.

In the year 2024, Channing Tatum finally landed the opportunity to embody his cherished comic book persona, Gambit, on the big screen. It’s worth noting that the actor had long been eager to take on this role, having been given a promise for it under the Fox studio years ago.

It was ultimately Ryan Reynolds who made it possible for Channing Tatum to shine, by assembling an impressive group of actors from Elektra, Blade, and other superhero franchises. Afterward, devoted fans began to wonder if Tatum’s screen time would be similar to John Krasinski’s portrayal of Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) in just a single appearance.

In the upcoming Fox production I’m excitedly anticipating, it was intended for me – and I can hardly contain my enthusiasm – to share the screen with the talented Lizzy Caplan. This film was slated to be a lively, witty, and romantic comedy in the tradition of screwball classics.

Talking about the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie, a long lsit of actors was announced recently.

In the upcoming Fantastic Four film, not only will we have Pedro Pascal, Venessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach on the team, but also some original X-Men members such as Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, and James Marsden.

Additionally, prepare for the arrival of Lewis Pullman, David Harbour, Danny Ramirez, Simu Liu, and Anthony Mackie as they ready themselves to confront the upcoming villain, Robert Downey Jr.’s character, Doctor Doom.
