Actor Billy Magnussen is primed to act alongside Sarah Goldberg in AMC’s fresh Silicon Valley drama. In this upcoming series, Magnussen will portray the main character, who is depicted as a self-styled “inventor of the future.” However, his story takes a turn when he becomes embroiled in a scandal for misusing personal data.
According to Jonathan Glatzer, the as-yet-unnamed series is highly praised. Not only that, but he’s joining forces with Gina Mingacci to finance the production of the show as well.
Last year saw the Silicon Valley project come into motion, and following several months of presentations, the production company finally gave the go-ahead for the series to proceed.
Details about the upcoming show are yet to be revealed by its creators, but Magnussen has already captured many hearts with his acting skills in the HBO superhero movie, “The Franchise”. This production was masterminded by Sam Mendes and Armando Iannucci.
Currently, the actor finds himself with a packed schedule, as he is set to appear alongside Margot Robbie in A Big Bold Beautiful Journey. Additionally, Alexander Magnussen has been cast as Pleakley in Disney’s upcoming live-action film, Lilo and Stitch.
Additional acclaimed roles are found in movies like Lift and Road House, where the actor’s performance received high accolades.
