The divorce filing by Lopez took place on their second wedding anniversary in August 2024. Their separation was officially recognized on April 26th, and the divorce was finalized in January. Since then, Affleck has been making quiet strides in reshaping his life.

According to a source, he appears self-centered and content with his work, as reported by Us Weekly. In an interview for GQ’s April edition, Affleck stated that there was no controversy leading to the separation, instead characterizing it as two individuals attempting to navigate their respective lives.

He further explained that Jennifer Lopez’s 2024 documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, did not contribute significantly to any significant breakdown in their relationship. He implied that the documentary may not provide a complete understanding of the challenges they encountered.

Affleck and Jennifer Garner have been growing closer since his separation from Lopez. The two parents of their three kids, Violet (19), Fin (16), and Samuel (13), spent Thanksgiving helping out in Los Angeles and were spotted enjoying Samuel’s birthday with a paintball adventure in March.

A source revealed that their bond has grown stronger post-divorce, but without any romantic involvement. Instead, they share a profound trust and comfortableness, facilitating smooth co-parenting. Essentially, they remain united as a family forever.
