George Miller expresses excitement about an upcoming Mad Max film. In a recent chat with Vulture, the director mentioned plans for a sequel to the 2021 Furiosa movie. He mentioned that he’s been presented with several scripts for a new addition to the series. Miller hinted at working on another Mad Max installment “only if the stars happen to align in the right way.
The filmmaker elaborated to the media outlet, “We have another script in the works.” Miller further explained, “Given my years of experience in storytelling, I often find myself with an abundance of stories—not just ideas floating around in my mind, but actual scripts or extensive notes that could easily be turned into scripts.
During the course of the conversation, the director playfully referred to himself as a habitual dreamer during classroom hours. He explained that his teachers often remarked that if he hadn’t been daydreaming, he could have performed better academically.
The director went on to explain, ‘We have many tales in store. One of them resembles Mad Max, but it’s not my immediate plan. However, should certain circumstances coincide, who knows?’
Additionally, he mentioned, “Quite frequently, it seems like you’re about to start a film project, but sometimes unexpected events occur. Some pieces fall into place while others don’t, so the best I can do is wait and see.
Regarding “Fury Road,” the spectators saw Max Rockatansky, a former slave, stepping in to aid Imperator Furiosa.
