It’s been confirmed that the fifth season of “Invincible” will be coming our way! Amazon Prime Video made the announcement, adding that Season 4 is set to air in 2026 as well.
The announcement also included some exciting cast updates – it was announced that Matthew Rhys will be part of the voice cast for Season 4. This popular series, which is jointly developed by Skybound Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios, can be found streaming on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Season 3 Breaks Records for Prime Video
In simple terms, the third series of “Invincible” has turned out to be Prime Video’s most popular animated season so far, and it ranks as their top returning show within their selection of adult-oriented animated programming.
2024 and 2025 saw my favorite show receiving a series of prestigious nominations – two consecutive Primetime Emmy nods, a Critics’ Choice nomination for Best Animated Series, and even back-to-back! As if that wasn’t enough, the third season continues to receive rave reviews from critics, boasting a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Not only that, but previous seasons have also been praised with “Certified Fresh” rankings, with Season 2 bagging the Golden Tomato Award for Best Animated Series in 2023. It’s safe to say this show is truly a masterpiece!
Story Based on Kirkman’s Comic
The series “Invincible” is derived from a comic written by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. It revolves around Mark Grayson, a young man who acquires superpowers from his father, Omni-Man, and endeavors to protect Earth. As the story unfolds across different seasons, Mark is compelled to grapple with challenging decisions and face the repercussions of his newfound abilities.

The voice acting lineup features Steven Yeun (as Mark), Sandra Oh, J.K. Simmons, as well as Seth Rogen, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Zazie Beetz, Zachary Quinto, Kevin Michael Richardson, Ben Schwartz, Mark Hamill, and others.
The animation series is developed under the banner of Skybound Animation. The list of executive producers includes Robert Kirkman, Seth Rogen, David Alpert, Catherine Winder, Simon Racioppa, Margaret M. Dean, and Evan Goldberg. Additionally, Helen Leigh and Cory Walker take on the roles of co-executive producers.
