As a seasoned gamer and Marvel Cinematic Universe aficionado who’s been following the saga since its inception, I can confidently say that the future of the MCU is as exciting as ever, especially with Robert Downey Jr.’s return to the fold. The multiversal twist has added a new layer of complexity that I can hardly wait to unravel.
After Robert Downey Jr.’s comeback to the franchise, the prospect of the saga’s largest standalone cinematic universe is captivating once more. Fans eagerly anticipate the developments in these stories, characters, and movies. Despite uncertainty about how Marvel will weave all the connections given the MCU’s massive multiversal shift, and whether they can create a compelling future narrative, fans are undeniably thrilled.
Given the current situation, there’s a lot of speculation about various Marvel Cinematic Universe characters and their potential outcomes. Fans are both eagerly theorizing about their favorite characters and seeking official updates on certain ones.
As a dedicated gamer, let me share some exciting insights about a character I’m really looking forward to seeing more of – Clea. While she made a brief appearance in the Doctor Strange sequel movie, rumor has it that her role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is set to expand significantly, according to the inside scoop we’ve gathered. Keep an eye out for our upcoming report to find out more!
In the movie “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” Clea was portrayed by Charlize Theron in a brief cameo during the closing credits. Although no official news has been released since then, it appears that Marvel may be planning to further develop the character at some point in the future, according to some inside sources.
According to the team at Cosmic Circus, they have a reputation for accurate inside knowledge, and this is what they shared regarding Clea:
@Hifive326: If DS3 (Doctor Strange 3) is released only after Secret Wars, how would you imagine the Strange/Clea storyline will progress following the mid-credits scene in Multiverse of Madness?
Alex: I’ve been told that Doctor Strange 3 might be coming out before Secret Wars, perhaps even before Doomsday, but it seems more likely to be preceding Secret Wars. The storyline they’re planning for him is quite extensive and can’t be summarized in a 20-minute plot like the one for Thor in Infinity War. They have a lot to cover, such as Strange uncovering his role in the Multiverse Saga, dealing with it emotionally, developing a bond with Clea, and ultimately breaking free from his predetermined fate to become the hero who saves the Multiverse. He’s not just meant to be what he’s destined for, but rather the best among us, the one who defies the set path and becomes the savior of the Multiverse.
Kosta: On a scale of 1-10, how big of a role will Clea have in the Avenger films?
Alex: I’m not fond of numbers; I find them subjective and open to interpretation. Instead, I prefer relating them to character roles in different movies or stories. For instance, Clea in the Saga is primarily responsible for helping Strange understand his purpose in the Multiverse. Although there are various speculations about her exact role, ranging from recruiting Strange into an order to potentially aiding Doom as one of the Black Swans, at this stage, it’s premature for me to discuss those theories.

Even though the exact outcome remains uncertain, the significance of their confident assertions cannot be ignored. Thus, our curiosity and anticipation about the forthcoming events are naturally piqued.
