Dakota and Elle Fanning had a nice lunch together in Los Angeles last Saturday, March 7th. Elle’s boyfriend, Gus Wenner, joined them at the restaurant Jon & Vinny’s.
The group enjoyed the pleasant California spring weather, and their outfits reflected that. Dakota, age 32, wore a stylish look with a light plaid coat over a simple white dress, finished with some dainty jewelry.
Elle, 27, embraced the current season’s style with a white cardigan and a flowy yellow skirt, both from Tanner Fletcher. Her boyfriend, Gus Wenner, the CEO of Rolling Stone, opted for a relaxed outfit of a blue long-sleeved shirt, dark pants, and brown shoes.

The sisters are well-known for being very close and often publicly support each other. Just recently, Elle posted a sweet birthday message for Dakota online, sharing how much she admires and loves her older sister while they both enjoy successful careers in Hollywood.
Dakota Fanning has been busy with TV and streaming projects recently, appearing in the Peacock miniseries All Her Fault and the highly praised limited series Ripley. She’s also going to star in and help produce a new thriller for Apple TV. The series, created by Alex Cary – who worked on Homeland – will follow an undercover Treasury agent as they navigate a complicated world of international corruption.
Elle Fanning is having a fantastic year, following her critically acclaimed performance in the drama Sentimental Value. Fans are especially excited to see her play Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, the new prequel coming out later this year.
She’s also starring in the upcoming miniseries Margo’s Got Money Troubles. Another project generating buzz is a film adaptation of The Nightingale, which will mark the first major on-screen collaboration between Elle and her sister. They’ve talked for years about wanting to work together on a project like this. Both sisters often talk about how important their relationship is, and how they support each other in the often-challenging world of acting.
