As a dedicated fan who has lived through the rollercoaster ride of emotions that Industry has so skillfully portrayed over the past two seasons, I eagerly await the return of this gripping corporate drama. The addition of Kit Harrington and Sarah Goldberg to the already stellar cast is simply icing on the cake.
After a two-year hiatus, HBO’s critically acclaimed corporate drama, Industry, is back for its third season. Focusing predominantly on investment banking and trading, the show premiered the first episode of the new season on August 11, with subsequent episodes airing each Sunday on HBO.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share that in the upcoming season, I’ll be stepping back into the shoes of my characters Harper, Robert, Yasmi, and Eric, respectively, played by Myha’la Herold, Harry Lawtey, Marisa Abela, and Ken Leung. The stage is also set for a fantastic addition to our cast this season – none other than Game of Thrones’ Kit Harrington as Henry Muck!
Let’s take a look at the list of characters who will be returning this season.
Harper Stern (Myha’la Herold)
Myha’la is ready to resume her role as Harper Stern, a diligent and gifted graduate who will go to great lengths to demonstrate her superiority among her peers. She relocated from New York to London to become part of Pierpoint. Assigned to the Cross Product Sales (CPS) desk, she works under the guidance of Eric Tao, the managing director of CPS.
Eric Tao (Ken Leung)
In a change of role, Eric Tao, previously known as Ken Luang, will assume the position of Managing Director for the Criss Product Sales (CPS) desk. During her tenure at Pierpoint, he guides Harper, acting as her mentor. Known for being the company’s top producer and a bold leader, Eric Tao is respected for his leadership skills.
Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harrington)
The latest cast member for the show, Henry Muck, will be portrayed by none other than Kit Harington, famously known for his role in Game of Thrones. Henry, who is the CEO and founder of a cutting-edge green technology company named Lumi, aims to take the company public.
Yasmin Kara-Hanani (Marisa Abela)
Marisa Abela will reprise her role as Yasmin Kara-Hanani, the astute businesswoman from an affluent publishing dynasty. From early on, she’s felt the relentless pressure of her parents’ high expectations. To demonstrate her value and navigate the cutthroat world of Pierpoint, she chooses to join their ranks.
Robert Spearing (Harry Lawtey)
In a new performance, Harry Lawtey is set to portray the character of Robert Spearing, our resilient Welsh hero who climbed his way up from a working-class background to earn a spot at Oxford University. Following his graduation, he immediately joined Pierpoint and has been assigned to the CPS desk.
Venetia Berens (Indy Lewis)
In the second season, Indu Lewis made an appearance as Venetia Berens, a fresh graduate at Pierpoint. This character is returning for the current season as well. Venetia is stationed at the Foreign Exchange Sales Desk and takes orders from Yasmin.
Rishi Ramdani (Sagar Radia)
Sagar Radia is coming back, this time as Rishi Ramdani, a colleague and market specialist stationed at the CPS desk. It turns out that Rishi is a powerful and lucrative resource for our trading group.
Petra Koenig (Sarah Goldberg)
In the latest cast update, Sarah Goldberg is set to enter the series, portraying Petra Goldberg – a character who works as a portfolio manager at an ethically-focused investment firm named FutureDawn.
Bill Adler (Trevor White)
Occasionally, Trevor White graces the screen playing the role of Bill Adler, who is associated with Pierpoint as a partner. There’s a chance we might see him again in this current season.
