During a show broadcasted on Thursday, August 8, the 41-year-old pop sensation unveiled an exciting update: her popular Kellyoke covers from The Kelly Clarkson Show can now be enjoyed on SiriusXM’s dedicated channel, “Kelly Clarkson Connection.”
On Instagram, Clarkson announced to her fans that after hearing Kellyoke covers on The Kelly Clarkson Show, they can now listen to them on the Kelly Clarkson Connection. Tune in right away on SiriusXM!
In addition to her Instagram post, Clarkson shared a snippet of audio revealing the exhilarating update. She conveyed her excitement, explaining that her Kellyoke cover performances will be incorporated into the Kelly Clarkson Connection channel from now on.
Clarkson expressed her enthusiasm in saying, “I can’t wait to unveil the Kellyokes! This is the question I get asked the most: ‘Couldn’t you just compile them all on a CD? Can’t we have them all…’ A CD, oh my goodness! I feel like I’m still stuck in the 90s. What?”
She went on to say, “The Kelly Clarkson Connection is an ideal platform for these songs. Since it’s my own radio station, it makes perfect sense to share them with my fans here. Many people have been inquiring about new music, so we’re kicking things off with a few covers and will eventually introduce more content. This station will be where you can enjoy the Kellyokes, tailor-made for this platform.”
Additionally, Clarkson noted that listeners could catch her song cover performances, as well as the tales connected to each track and feedback from the original musicians, on SiriusXM channel 12.
In November 2023, Clarkson Connection – Clarkson’s SiriusXM channel – made its debut. This continuous radio station plays her favorite tunes from various artists while offering intriguing anecdotes about the tales behind several of her own compositions.
